Flight school finder

A directory grows only as fast as verified information does — V1 starts with the due-diligence checklist every student should run, regardless of which school they're considering.

V1 SCOPE

Full comparable directory is coming in V2

Publishing verified fleet, pricing and refund-policy data for individual schools requires direct confirmation from each school — that data-collection process starts after launch. For now, use the checklist below with any school you're evaluating.

Before you pay

Due-diligence checklist

Verify regulatory approval

Confirm the school is currently DGCA-approved (or approved by the relevant authority), not just historically.

Verify aircraft availability

Ask how many aircraft are actually flying, not just owned — grounded aircraft extend timelines significantly.

Verify actual hourly rates

Get the current rate in writing — quoted rates can be outdated by the time you enrol.

Verify additional fees

Landing fees, fuel surcharges, examiner fees, and simulator time are common extras not in the headline price.

Verify refund policy

Get it in writing, including what happens if the school itself stops operating.

Verify accommodation

Confirm what's included versus what you'll need to arrange separately.

Verify training timeline

Ask for the average completion time of recent students, not just the minimum possible.

Verify licence recognition

If training abroad, confirm exactly what's needed to convert the licence for your home country.

Verify student reviews independently

Look for reviews outside the school's own website and social media, and try to contact recent graduates directly.

Checklist items are ARYA's own guidance, not sourced from a specific regulator.
