About ARYA

Why this exists, and who built it.

The problem

Nobody tells you, plainly, what applies to you

Most aspiring pilots lose time and money to the same thing: scattered information, forum rumours, and agents with an incentive to oversell. Age limits, medical categories, real costs, which country actually makes sense for your situation — none of it is hard to find individually, but almost nobody puts it together honestly, in one place, without trying to sell you something at the same time.

Who built it

Built by someone who's actually sat in the seat

ARYA is built by Arya Reddy — a working airline First Officer, flying long-haul on the Airbus A380 for Emirates. Four years in a commercial cockpit is enough to see the same confusion play out over and over: cadets and aspiring pilots who did everything "right" on paper and still got blindsided by something nobody had explained to them clearly beforehand — a medical category they didn't know applied to them, a document they didn't know they'd need, a cost nobody had mentioned.

ARYA exists to close that specific gap — not with vague motivational advice, but with sourced, dated, honestly-labelled guidance: what's confirmed, what's commonly cited but unverified, and what you should double-check yourself before relying on it.

What ARYA is not

Not a school. Not an agent. Not a guarantee.

ARYA doesn't train pilots, doesn't take a cut from flight schools, and doesn't promise outcomes. It's a guidance platform — a roadmap, a document tracker, and an honest reference point — built to help you make your own decisions with better information than most people start with.
